THE WORLD AS THE WEB,EVERYTHING IS CLICKABLE
During STRP Conference on Friday, November 26, we will discuss what the future will look like when everything is "clickable" and "readable." Using RFID and Near Field Communication you get an extra technology layer over your living spaces and material life. Or how about drawing marketing conclusions directly from your brain? An interactive window is already a new reality! What if your whole life from early morning until late at night is superimposed with just one click? The Toxic Avenger feat. OrelSan published a video clip where the above ideas draw a very realistic picture. (...)

This year STRP Festival gives an extra dimension to your festival experience! Besides an interactive exhibit, groundbreaking music and unconventional films, STRP Festival will enrich your festival experience from October 4th with the innovative RFID  'field trial' project: the eSphere!

STRP RADR: PLACES TO BE, FESTIVALS TO SEE
Festivals, events and other culture initiatives in all shapes and forms are important! according to STRP Festival. Therefore we do not only want to show our program to the world but also that of others. Hereby an overview of upcoming festivals where you have to go to like, E-Pulse, Impakt Festival or Playgrounds festival (...)


FREE ENTRANCE TO STRP FESTIVAL OR ANOTHER EVENT? COME AND HELP US DISTRIBUTE FLYERS!!
Also this year, STRP Festival needs volunteers who want to distribute flyers to promote the festival. For a few hours of work, you get a free ticket (if available) for the club night where you will distribute flyers for STRP Festivalor a ticket to one of the promising Saturday evening concerts.
Besides the club nights, there are also some general places where we could use your support. Think of Dutch Design Week or NS tryout festival in Eindhoven.

THE BLOODY BEETROOTS, SKREAM FT. SGT. POKES, MODESELEKTION EN SOULWAXMAS OP STRP
This year STRP Festival programmed a lot of live music. During the first Saturday (November 20) acts like The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77, Skream ft. Sgt. Pokes, Chromeo and The Twelves have been added to the festival billing. After the warm-up, the night continues with Modeselektor, Martyn, Shed and Monolake who will guarantee you party till the night ends. The second Saturday (November 27) will be hosted by Soulwax/2manydj's 'and friends' under the name 'Soulwaxmas'. It will not only involve the Belgian brothers of 2manydj’s but also other special guests. (...)


VACUUM PACKED AND TRANSFORMING LANDSCAPES: STRP EXPO PROGRAM ONLINE
The art program of STRP Festival is complete! To get you warmed up for the entire program, we have highlighted a few for you. The entire art program is available on the STRP website.
During STRP Festival an overview of the work of the Belgian installation artist Lawrence Malstaf is presented. Shrink is one of the many art installations he will be showing. In this installation someone is packed vacuum between two transparent sails and hovers above the ground because of the vacuum. Next to this you can be sucked in a 3D experience called La Dispersion du Fils of Jean Michel Bruyère. Thousands of images are turned into a huge 3D organism, which takes a dizzying flight through space (...)


HOTLINK: DADAHACK CASSETTE IS MP3 PLAYER
The design and musical duo Dadahack has released a cool looking MP3 player released in the classical form and execution of a cassette tape. The tape can be used as a personal mp3 player used by connecting a headset or a standard cassette tape in a cassette deck. Retro yet modern and the music of Dadahack is already on it!
