TETEM Enschede, The Artery Show

Opening The Artery Show 26 april t/m 10 juni 2012 Opening: donderdag 26 april om 19.45 Aanstaande donderdag 26 april opent The Artery Show met de hoofdtentoonstelling in TETEM kunstruimte. Ruim 30 kunstverzamelaars uit Enschede laten een deel van hun privécollectie zien, evenals hun drijfveren om kunst te verzamelen. Het project is geïnspireerd door kunst als 'conversation piece' en de verzamelaar als de drijvende kracht van het kunstecosysteem. The Artery Show is een samenwerkingsproject met  zw-artprojects en Cabinodd, die samen met Galerie Beeld & Aambeeld een parallel tentoonstellingsprogramma verzorgen. In het kader van The Artery Show kan iedereen op 10 en 23 mei en 7 juni gratis deelnemen aan inspirerende dagprogramma's met: Achter de schermen excursies naar de lokale culturele instellingen en de collectie van de Rabobank Enschede-Haaksbergen en de Doetanks en Art talks in TETEM kunstruimte. The Artery Show wordt geopend op 26 april om 19.45 's avonds door Dr. Renée Steenbergen (verzamelaarsdeskundige) en Valerie Zwart en Ella Buzo (curators The Artery Show). De opening is gecombineerd met een speciale avondopenstelling van Tide in 21rozendaal die vanaf 19.00 uur begint. This Thursday 26 April at 7.45pm we will open the main exhibition of The Artery Show at TETEM art space. Over 30 art collectors from Enschede are presenting a part of their private collection and their motivation for collecting art. The project is inspired by art as conversation piece and the collector as the driving force of the art ecosystem. The Artery Show is a collaboration with zw-artprojects and Cabinodd who are, together with Gallery Beeld & Aambeeld, presenting a parallel exhibition program. On 10 and 23 May and 7 June, you can also join three inspiring day programs with: Behind the scene trips to local cultural institutions and the collection of Rabobank Enschede-Haaksbergen and Doetanks and Art Talks in TETEM art space. The Artery Show will be opened by Dr. Renée Steenbergen (art collectors expert) and Valerie Zwart and Ella Buzo (curators The Artery Show). The opening is combined with a special evening opening of Tide in 21rozendaal which starts at 7pm.
