MACHINIMA AFTERNOON
Lectures about the upcoming world of machinima movie making; an
introduction, a talk on the political side of machinima, example movies, the
demo-scene and of course the awards ceremony for the machinima competition
organized by HAFF, VIRMA and Mediamatic.
All will take place TOMORROW at the Holland Animation Fim Festival in
Theater de Kikker, Ganzemarkt 14, Utrecht.

WORKSHOP MAKE YOUR OWN WEARABLE!
With the help of Massimo Banzi, one of the co-founders of Arduino, you will
create your own game-of life t-shirt or interactive tough-glove using the
Arduino-microcontroller and some basic electronics.
Within three days time, learn about microcontrollers, sensors and actuators,
Arduino; create a wearable, get experience in soldering and basic
electronics.

WORKSHOP RFID & THE INTERNET OF THINGS
RFID & The Internet of Things is a workshop for a maximum of 16 designers
and artists who want to learn more about RFID and its possible (cultural)
effects and uses.
In this workshop you?ll make your own prototype where the virtual and the
real world come together by using rfid tools. You can try out the rfid
technology and develop first layouts of possible applications, alternative
uses and hacks.

WORKSHOP ANY MEDIA DOCUMENTARY @ IDFA
Makers of creative documentaries need to come to terms with an explosion of
existing new media channels and practices, in terms of conceiving, producing
as well as publishing documentary projects.
In this workshop we?ll look at the possibilities of new media from the point
of view of a documentary author, and all participants develop a prototype of
a many media documentary.
