Opening Dreamscapes: mixed-up bij TETEM Enschede

Ontdek imaginair realisme van kunstenaars die in de traditie van de oude meesters werken en die van de nieuwe generatie kunstenaars die de hedendaagse technieken toepassen. Dreamscapes is een serie van tentoonstellingen op het gebied van imaginair realisme die over de hele wereld plaatsvinden. De exposities en publicaties besteden aandacht aan magisch realisme, fantastisch realisme, surrealisme en andere wondere creaties. De tentoonstelling in TETEM kunstruimte wordt georganiseerd door Marcel Salome (Imaginary Editions) en Ella Buzo (Cabinodd), het samenwerkend team achter twee Amsterdamse edities van Dreamscapes in 2008 en 2010. Dreamscapes mixed-up toont de traditionele, experimentele en speelse kanten van deze stroming. De opening op donderdag 22 maart om 17.00 uur wordt verzorgd door Ella Buzo en Marcel Salome en burlesque eye-candy en absinthe van Medusa's World. Tijdens de opening en tentoonstelling zijn Dreamscapes publicaties verkrijgbaar. Discover the fantasy-rich worlds of established artists working in the traditions of the old masters, as well as the young and talented artists adopting a new approach and techniques to alternative styles of realism. Dreamscapes is a series of imaginary realism exhibitions that take place at various locations throughout the world. The exhibitions and catalogues showcase magic realism, fantastic realism, surrealism and other mind-blowing creations. This year's edition at TETEM artspace is organised by Marcel Salome (Imaginary Editions) and Ella Buzo (Cabinodd), the collaborative team behind two earlier editions of Dreamscapes in 2008 and 2010. Dreamscapes: mixed-up is the intersection of the traditional and the mysterious and playful aspects of this art movement. The show will be opened by Ella Buzo and Marcel Salome with eye-candy and absinthe by Medusa’s World. Dreamscapes publications will be available for the duration of the exhibition.
